Bhubaneswar – Nuapatna – Konark – Puri – Raghurajpur – Baliguda – Rayagada – Chatikona – Kundli – Vishakhapatnam

Bhubaneswar, known as the City of Temples, is famous for its architectural and cultural landmarks, including numerous ancient temples that reflect the rich heritage of the region.

Your journey will begin with a visit to one of the most famous temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. Lingaraja Temple, a splendid example of classical Odishan architecture, will captivate you with its ancient reliefs and sculptures.

Next, you will proceed to the Buddhist stupa at Dhauli. This historic site is associated with Ashoka, the great Mauryan emperor who, after a bloody battle, attained spiritual enlightenment and became a supporter of Buddhism. The stupa symbolizes his conversion to this religion.

Afterwards, you will visit the temples of Mukteshwar, Siddheshwar, and Parasurameshwar to fully appreciate their ancient architectural marvels. At the end of the day, you will return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Bhubaneswar.

In the morning, you will travel to Nuapatna, renowned for its textile artisans. Here, you will learn about traditional textile production methods and meet local master weavers.

Afterwards, you will visit the jewelers' village to admire their exquisite craftsmanship.

In the evening, we will explore the enchanting and spiritually significant monastery of Joranda, where you will join the evening prayers. You will spend the night at the King’s Palace in Denkanal.

Your day will begin with a visit to Puri, a sacred city on the Bay of Bengal, and the Buddhist stupa at Dhauli. Later, you will proceed to the village of Pipili famous for its appliqué work.

In the evening, you will explore Konark, where you will visit the famous Sun Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

In Raghurajpur, you will immerse yourself in the ancient traditions of art. This is where master Pattachitra artists live and work, creating traditional fabric paintings that are among the oldest and most popular art forms in Odisha.

Afterwards, you will visit nearby traditional villages to observe their local way of life.

In the evening, you will head to the mountain resort of Taptapani with a stop at Chilika Lake along the way. You will spend the night by the seaside in Gopalpur.

Your morning will begin with a visit to the Buddhist monastery of Jirang, where you will immerse yourself in the spiritual atmosphere of local culture.

Your next stop will be a visit to the Saura tribe to witness their traditional way of life.

Afterwards, you will journey to Baliguda, visiting villages of the Kutia Kondh tribe along the way. You will spend the night in Baliguda.

On the morning of the sixth day, you will explore the Kutia Kondh tribe in Baliguda, where you will learn about their unique tattoos, customs, and traditions. Then we will proceed to Rayagada for overnight stay.

On this day, you will visit the weekly market in the Bissam Katak area, followed by a meeting with the Desia Kondh tribe. We will return to Rayagada by evening for overnight stay.

In the morning, you will head to Chatikona to visit the weekly market and meet the Dongaria Kondh tribe. Later, we will proceed to Jeypore for overnight stay.

Your day will begin with a visit to the weekly market in the Onkdeli area, followed by shopping. You will meet the Bondo tribe and the Gadaba tribe with their permission. We will spend the night in Kundli.

Your final day of travel will begin with a visit to the largest weekly market, where you will meet the Paraja, Rana, and Mali tribes in Kundli. Then we will head to Vishakhapatnam, where you will conclude your fascinating journey.
