TOUR ITINERARY

Haridwar - Rishikesh - Mussoorie

(5 days / 4 nights)

DAY 1: HARIDWAR

Haridwar, translated from Sanskrit as Gateway to the Lord’s Kingdom, is one of the oldest cities in India, situated on the banks of the sacred River Ganges in the state of Uttarakhand. It is the northernmost of the seven sacred cities in India. Mentioned in ancient Hindu texts and epics, the city serves as a haven for sages and is a center of art, science, and culture. In Haridwar, pilgrims far outnumber local residents.

Here, the Ganges descends from the mountains, meeting the sacred valley where traces of the divine feet of Vishnu are believed to remain in the soil. Haridwar serves as a starting point for Hindu pilgrims seeking spiritual purification before visiting sacred sites in the Himalayas such as Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri, and Yamunotri.

Upon arrival in Haridwar and check-in at the hotel, you will visit Har Ki Pauri, where an exhilarating Arti fire ritual takes place every evening. Pilgrims from around the world gather here to immerse themselves in the holy waters of the Ganges and be part of this spiritual event.
