DAY 1: DELHI

Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel, a brief rest, and a delicious traditional Indian breakfast to start a new day filled with the spirit of history and grandeur.

Our first stop is Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India, where we will immerse ourselves in its majestic atmosphere and enjoy stunning views of the city from its lofty minarets.

Next, we will visit the Red Fort (Lal Kila), a prominent historical monument in Delhi built in the 17th century, symbolizing the might of the Mughals and an integral part of their great empire.

Following this, we will head to Raj Ghat, Mahatma Gandhi’s memorial. Here, on the banks of the Yamuna River, we will visit a black marble platform topped with an eternal flame, symbolizing the memory of the wise spiritual leader.

Next, we will turn our gaze to India Gate, a majestic arch built in memory of soldiers who died in World War I. Surrounded by a beautiful park, this monument commemorates those who sacrificed their lives for peace.

Our next destination is Gurdwara Bangla Sahib, a revered Sikh temple in Delhi known for its beautiful architecture and spiritual ambiance, attracting millions of pilgrims and tourists.

Our final stop for the day is Qutub Minar, a complex of religious structures dating back to the early 12th century Islamic rule in India, one of Delhi’s most impressive tourist attractions.

To conclude this exciting day, we will take a rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk, one of the oldest and most picturesque streets in Old Delhi. Here, we will immerse ourselves in the atmosphere of traditional Indian life, exploring shops selling jewelry, textiles, and spices. Early morning on the second day, we will travel for 3 to 4 hours to Jaipur, known as the Pink City rich in historical monuments reflecting its glorious past and vibrant traditions. Here, you can visit palaces, forts, temples, and gardens.

On the route to Jaipur, our first stop will be Galta Ji, the Monkey Temple, followed by check-in at the hotel. Next, we will visit the Birla Temple and then Hawa Mahal, also known as the Palace of Winds built in 1799. This remarkable five-story building with an extensive stone lattice facade was used by Rajput aristocratic women to observe life in the bazaar while remaining unseen.

Our itinerary then includes a visit to the Albert Hall Museum, where you can enjoy unique artworks and crafts from India spanning the 17th to the 20th century.

To conclude the day, you will visit the Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory built in the early 18th century. The ancient equipment perfectly preserved to this day was designed to calculate the positions of stars in the night sky and other astronomical mysteries and secrets.

Note: Taj Mahal is closed for visitors on Fridays.

Afterwards, we will explore the Red Fort (Lal Qila), including its grand historical citadel made of red sandstone in the 17th century. Here, you will learn not only about the military history of this cultural monument but also about the events that left their marks on the stone of this magnificent structure.

To end the day, you will discover the Baby Taj Mahal. This small mausoleum is a hidden gem lesser known to tourists yet full of charm and historical significance.
